blog #4 loss/lonliness :(

When Liesel placed the book back into position
she offered it to the girl Liesel
the was an uncomfortable silence
Rudy broke the silence
in the distance there was gun-fire
Samensch!!! mama abused her last night
she hasnt got a hope
she sucked in a big gulp of air
"SAMENSCH!" she shouted
You sakeral she accused him when she collapsed onto the river bank
come one Liesel.

This is a found poem based on loneliness and despair. This explains all the loss and emotional discard that Liesel and the people he holds dear to her have gone through. Not necessarily in the exact context of this poem but in generality.

blog#2 Artifact

In the exuberant novel, "The Book Thief" the grave diggers handbook is a wonderful artifact!!!! this is because Lielsel finds this book within a book that is published to show death during the Holocaust. This resembles the amount of death within the novel. This is an artifact that is found throughout this whole novel. This artifact is not only a literal representation of death is represents also that she stole from her brother's grave place. During the time that Liesel lives with the Hubermann's, Hitler becomes more powerful.

She discovers books from Nazi book burnings and steals from the library of the mayor. she does not know how to read when she steals her first book, the grave diggers handbook but Mr. Hubermann uses the books to teach her to read. The first book that she steels, called The gravedigger's handbook is about how to dig a grave. the second book she steels is called "The shoulder shrug." I believe she steels the books so he can have education about what is going on during her time. she is a smart, cunning young lady and she gets to courages with theft. she might get caught is she does not wise up.

Blog # 1 suffuring/hate

Hate, what is hate? Hate is an emotion described by anger driven by fear. Most people who hate, are insecure about themselves so they take it out on other people. discrimination is another way of saying I am hating on myself so therefore I hate on you! This irks me because people, when driven by fear, do things they regret. Also, people will always be different, therefore being conflicting with themselves and others; being different is not always a bad thing but seeing that humans, animals, insects, every living thing on Earth is different, we will always have hate.

If I stumbled upon the question, who suffered most during WWII I would conclude that the Jewish civilians suffered most. I say this because, during the war there were concentration camps where the civilians spent their days and nights. concentration camps was a place where became places where the enemies of the Nazis were enslaved, starved, tortured and killed. (credit to wikipeia) The Jews were not treated like humans. They were treated like a pack of wild Buffalo, in the wild, trying to be tamed. Jewish civilians, in my opinion, did not deserve what happened to them.
The discrimination took place, yet again, with the Jews. Mr. Adolf Hitler, decided that the Nazis needed someone to blame. He turned to all of the stores and marketing centers and asked 'who controls all of the money?" So from then on Hitler had discriminated against the Jews.
